Self-abandonment is the underlying cause of much pain and shame, while shame – which is perpetuated by self-abandonment – also fuels self-abandonment. So much will change in your life when you learn how to love yourself, and you break this painful cycle.
All feelings are informational. Your feelings are always informing you of whether you are on track or off track in your thinking and behavior. Remember to notice your feelings throughout the day.
